Hikvision DS-7204HQHI-F1/N/A is a 4-channel CCTV DVR capable of recording surveillance video provided in HD-TVI, AHD, CVBS and IP standards. The maximum recording resolution is 1080p@12fps. In the case of 960x1080 / 720p / VGA / WD1 / 4CIF / CIF resolutions, the maximum frame rate is 25 fps.

High Definition Transport Video Interface (HD-TVI) is a revolutionary technology that allows users to send uncompressed, high-resolution video (up to 1080p) over coaxial or twisted-pair cables (using dedicated baluns). The transmitted video signal is in analog form, with bandwidth much greater than in the case of CVBS (SD). As the signal is not compressed, the picture is more natural during live viewing. There is no delay and the configuration of such a system is easier compared to IP CCTV solutions.

The DVR can also record video from AHD cameras. In the case of application of such cameras, it is necessary to set the video mode to AHD. The video mode changes for 2 neighboring video inputs, for example two inputs can be connected to AHD cameras and two to HD-TVI cameras.
